This is Thomas. He's been on the staff for several years. First he just worked weekends while in High School, but after graduating, he worked full time, and continued with college classes at night. It wasn't his dream to work on a golf course. For Thomas, it was a job, and one that he needed. He has a great work ethic and strives to do well no matter what he's doing. We could always count on him to be there, ready to work. Although he's kind of quiet, he also had a way of making us laugh. He was just great to have around, but he has left us to go on to bigger and better things. Thomas has joined the military. Yesterday was his last day till this summer when he comes back from boot camp and works for us on a part time basis. To send him off I told him I'd take him and the staff wherever he wanted to go for lunch. He picked Old Country Buffet which wasn't surprising since Thomas always had an impressive appetite.
So here we are enjoying a feast and having some laughs as we say good by to Thomas.
Tommy.........................We will miss you. It has been fun watching you grow up and I know I speak for the whole staff when I say "it has been a pleasure working with you and getting to know you". Thank you for your service to Tacoma Country and Golf Club, but more importantly, thank you for serving our country. You are the Man!!
